Would you call the stuff in my gallery real art? All I've really done is anime-style things, and it's supposed to be bad to draw in that style.

But is it not my own style? I mean, I'm not copying the style of any particular artist or mangaka. I could call it cartoon, right? but just because it looks more anime, they are all one style? I don't get it.
What if you're drawing realism? Do I go hey! Go get your own style, you copy-cat. Well, maybe it's a different situation, but I feel a little bit trapped [Oh, I hope the I Feel Fine program thing doesn't find this].

BUt I guess it's really just silly drawings that I do for fun on my own time. They don't mean much. It will only be real art that will get me anywhere.
